Trees, Shrubs & Ground Covers  

Slopes are always a challenge. To manage erosion on a bank that drops
more than 1 foot per 2 feet of horizontal distance, try planting a groundcover
such as vines or low growing shrubs.

Trees and shrub need approximately 1 to 3 inches of water per week
to develop deep roots and drought resistance.
